Image
Architectural cast glass commissions  - water feature - ALX Architectural Glass artist Alex Blakey created this bespoke water feature for Transported, Lincolnshire. The piece sits in Boston Crematorium and features solar powered jets of water that flow over the glass during the summer months. The piece's conception derived from memories gathered at community consultation events and arts workshop lead by Alex as a means of connecting the local people to the final work. Alex worked alongside the local high school as well as a residents group and the general public. The final work depicts Boston's vast cultural heritage.
